Competition Rules

  1. Entrants to the competition must be 18 or over.
  2. You must provide Cosyhomes with your name and email address to enter a competition. Specific competitions may require additional details, but these will be notified with the competition itself. Cosyhomes respects your rights to privacy and will only use your data for the purposes set out in our Privacy Policy.
  3. Unless otherwise stated with the competition only one entry will be accepted per person.
  4. The site Editor's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  5. The winner will be posted in the past winners section of the site and prizes must be claimed within 28 days.
  6. Prizes are subject to availability and Cosyhomes reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent value in the event that a prize is withdrawn by a sponsor or other third party on the Site (Partners) or it becomes unavailable for any other reason. In the case of the Highland Hideaway, the exact specification of the prize may be amended to conform to local planning requirements.
  7. In the main 'Win a Home' competition, the competition will close as soon as 100,000 entries have been purchased. It is the aim of the promoter that this should be at the earliest possible opportunity but in the event that less than 100,000 entries have been purchased by 31 January 2014 (the closing date), the promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition at or prior to this date. This may be before or after some of the entry tickets have been sold and in these circumstances the Promoter will return the competition entry fee to all competitors in the cancelled competition, and this will be the promoters only liability.
  8. Prizes must be taken as stated or notified by Cosyhomes and cannot be deferred.There will be no cash alternatives.
  9. Cosyhomes excludes all liability in so far as it is legally able to for any loss or damage by reason of any act or omission of its Partners, including but not limited to any arrangements for supply of prizes.
  10. Cosyhomes does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the internet or postal service. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
  11. Entrants must supply full details as required and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prizes. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.
  12. Cosyhomes competitions are not open to its contractors or employees or to any person directly or indirectly involved in the running of the competition or their direct family members.
  13. Cosyhomes reserves the right to cancel a competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
  14. Prizes unclaimed after 28 days will be deemed to have been forfeited and Cosyhomes reserves the right to either offer the prize to another entrant or to re-offer the prize in any future competition.
  15. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering a competition. Entrants will also be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by any extra rules that appear with the competition details.
  16. By submitting any written material which is published by Cosyhomes on the Site you grant Cosyhomes a perpetual royalty fee/licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute and otherwise exercise free, all copyright and publicity rights with respect to that material and at Cosyhomes sole discretion including storing it on the Cosyhomes' servers and incorporating it in other works in any media now known or later developed including without limitation published books. If you do not wish to grant Cosyhomes these rights, it is suggested that you do not submit written material to this Site.
  17. The names of all winners will be published on the Site and winners agree to take part in any publicity as reasonably requested by Cosyhomes.
  18. By entering into any competition or draw on this Site you are agreeing to the use of your data by Cosyhomes and our Partners in order to market products and services to you which we think you may find of interest. If you would like to know more please see Cosyhomes privacy policy.
  19. These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
